AFFILIATES AND BRAND AMBASSADOR PROGRAM - GUIDELINES

Style Carousel has developed the following guidelines (“Guidelines”) which it expects you to follow when providing any commentary on digital media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) or otherwise about its brand or products, including its services, website and platform (“Products”), in connection with this Program (“Blogging” or “Blog”) at it (or its agencies) request or when it (or its agencies) have provided you with an incentive to Blog.
In situations that are not explicitly addressed by these Guidelines - please use good judgment and follow the spirit of the Guidelines.
PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY TOGETHER WITH OUR TERMS OF SERVICE AS THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, REMEDIES AND OBLIGATIONS WHICH MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE YOU LAST ACCESSED OR USED THE PLATFORM.
If Style Carousel or its agents compensate you to Blog, or you have received free products, incentives or other benefits to review Style Carousel’s Products, you should make your connection to Style Carousel clear to your readers. This connection must be disclosed regardless of space limitations. Some disclosure examples are below. The disclosure should be clear and conspicuous and prominent enough for consumers to view it easily when they are reading your posts. + In the text of your blog/post/tweet: “Style Carousel has asked me to talk to you about…”, “Style Carousel sent me a free rental dress to try and…” or “I won a free rental from Style Carousel and…” + Use a prominent static banner on your website: “Style Carousel Sponsored”“ + Tweets/Status updates on social networks: When characters are limited, you should disclose your connection to Style Carousel on your profile page and include either of the following in your Tweets/Updates/Posts: #paid, #spon
Your statements should always reflect your honest and truthful opinions and actual experiences. If a statement is not your opinion, but rather something that Style Carousel has asked you to say, this fact should be made clear to readers – and you should only post content provided by Style Carousel to the extent it is consistent with your own views and opinions. If you received an incentive to review Style Carousel’s Products, you should be honest about your views, whatever they may be.
Only make a factual statement about a product’s characteristic or quality, which you know for certain is true and can be verified. Remember that even if you don’t expressly state a fact, it may be implied, and these Guidelines apply to both express and implied messages. Be especially careful about making any factual statement about Style Carousel’s competitors or their products, as Style Carousel does not support any false or misleading statements or comparisons. If you are Blogging at Style Carousel’s direct request, each Blog entry may require prior legal review (please check with your Style Carousel contact for full details or email marketing@stylecarousel.com).
Only use Style Carousel or third party Intellectual Property (defined below) with express written permission, or when such use is otherwise permitted under the law. Do not alter or modify any Style Carousel Intellectual Property. “Intellectual Property” is the group of legal rights relating to things people create or invent. Intellectual property rights typically include copyright, trademark, and trade secret rights, as well as the right to use someone’s name, likeness or voice (e.g. photographs, video, music, trademarks/logos, personal names/likenesses, writings, etc.).
Unless expressly requested, Style Carousel does not want you to send any emails on its behalf, nor will it provide you any compensation if you do. To the extent that you send your own e-mails, Style Carousel encourages you to comply with all applicable laws.
If you receive or become aware of information about Style Carousel, or its Products that is not known by the general public or is subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement, do not include such information in your Blog. To the extent you have any question whether information is confidential in nature, either contact Style Carousel directly before disclosing such information or otherwise err on the side of caution and do not disclose the information.
You should know that you are personally liable under law for your actions and omissions with respect to your Blog, which makes following these Guidelines, as well as all other applicable laws, regulations and other applicable legal authority, particularly important. Furthermore, you should know that Style Carousel will hold you directly responsible for any claims which arise from your violation of the law, these Guidelines, any agreement entered into between you and Style Carousel or Style Carousel’s rights, and by Blogging you hereby agree to indemnify Style Carousel (including its officers, directors, employees, business partners and agents) from and against any liability, all third party claims, damages, obligations, losses, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to lawyers’ fees) which arises out of the foregoing.
By Blogging at the direct request of Style Carousel, or by accepting any incentive from Style Carousel to Blog, you agree that upon notice from Style Carousel, you will immediately remove any content on your Blog relating to Style Carousel, Style Carousel Products, people associated with Style Carousel, Style Carousel’s competitors or Style Carousel’s competitor’s products, that Style Carousel indicates it finds objectionable. Even if we do not notify you, we expect that you will promptly remove any content for which you receive a legitimate complaint or which you later become aware may be in violation of the law or otherwise violate third party rights. You should also notify Style Carousel of any such complaints or violations. To the extent that your content generates any media inquiries about Style Carousel or its Products, if you decide to make any comments to the media, please be sure to disclose that you are not speaking on behalf of Style Carousel and your comments do not reflect the views of Style Carousel.
Style Carousel-Sponsored Blogger Giveaways: Blogger Giveaways, Sweepstakes or Contests (“Promotions”) are subject to applicable laws and compliance with Style Carousel’s policies. Bloggers invited to participate in a Style Carousel Promotion must provide receipt of acknowledgement of their participation and agree to be in compliance with these Blogger Guidelines. All blogs must contain a brief description about Style Carousel and/or the Brand and a link to the Promotion’s complete Official Rules as approved by Style Carousel. All Promotions must be compliant with all applicable legislation and regulations. Any Promotion conducted at Style Carousel’s direct request must disclose Style Carousel’s affiliation (See Guideline 1 above).
